Because of the friction of thegranulated surface on asphalt shingles, it is not often that snow guards are needed. However, if the roof has a history of damaged gutters, snow damaging landscaping or HVAC equipment, if you have pedestrian traffic below or long rafter lengths, it may be in the interest of "Life-Safety" or "Preventative Maintenance" to install Gough SnoGuards to help hold the snow in place. |
