Photos of Asphalt Roofs using Gough SnoGuardsTM

Type SGAR

This TCF bank installed SGAR Gough SnoGuards for Life Safety.

This church installed SGAR Gough SnoGuards for Preventative Maintenancae, so they did not have expensive copper gutter replacements again.

Because of the friction of thegranulated surface on asphalt shingles, it is not often that snow guards are needed.  However, if the roof has a history of damaged gutters, snow damaging landscaping or HVAC equipment, if you have pedestrian traffic below or long rafter lengths, it may be in the interest of "Life-Safety" or "Preventative Maintenance" to install Gough SnoGuards to help hold the snow in place.
